We are the Double Helix Climbers — a group of friends who came together through an interest in rock climbing, and most of us met through working in the biotech industry… hence the double helix. We’re not an official club or association, just a group of nerds who don’t climb to chase grades or inflate ego, instead; we climb for friendship, love of the outdoors, health and fitness, and – every once in a while – feeling like a total badass.

We are so grateful to the climbing community and all the volunteers who maintain bolts and climber access. We built this website to honor the adventures that they’ve facilitated for us and to make group donations to the stewards of the climbing areas we visit.
